How to be a Man: Archnemesis

Every Man should have an Archnemesis. Every superhero has one.

Spiderman has Venom

Batman has The Joker

The Fantasic Four have Dr. Doom

The X-Men have Magneto

The list goes on and on...

So why did I feel like I needed to write about mine...well, my Archnemesis has a orgin story like all do, but I think that my Archnemesis has something a little diffrent than most, but I will get to that later. As a man, you face certain struggles in life, life just throws things in your way sometimes when something is just a little too easy and simple. You will face many foes in your life. Like the kitchen disposal suddenly stops working (I fought this battle and won in March) But somethings in life, things that usually really matter are not just walks in the part...why? Becuase of one person, the Archnemesis.

An Archnemesis is your worst enemy, that one person in your life that somehow just sort of appers in your life and makes it a living hell. You can not get rid of this person, because just when you think all is fine and dany, they show up again. They are your equal, but exactly opposite from you.This person at first seems nice, but there is this feeling inside of you that just says that there is something wrong. TRUST THIS INSTINCT! Some people decide to blow it off, and when they let their guard down, they get blindsided.

The Archnemesis seems nice at first, but they are just putting on a show to try and get inside information on you and your loved ones. Most of the people you are close to will welcome thing new person in with open arms. They will invite this person to your lunch gatherings, Birthday Parties, not even church is scared here.

Once the Archnemesis get in, they will slowly try and take control of everyone you love one by one. They might start by getting together with a friend that is doing something that they just happen to be doing too...wow, how coinsidental. Then they will start getting together with that person more and more over the coming days or weeks.

After a few weeks being with one or two of your group, your friends will start to talk to this person more and more and welcome the to even hang out with your group when it is just supposed to be close friends. The inner circle if you wil. They will chat up your friends, making all of them trust them. Once this is done, you will get that feeling agian of "something just isn't right". Hopefully by now you realise that something is amiss, and you need to investigate.

Start by gathering information on this person, where they live, what they do for work. What they do off-hours. Don't stalk, but just get to know more about this person. You might be suprised that this person has everything opposite in common with you...They become a nemesis, a foe, an enemy. It is your job to take this person out.

Once you figure this out, once you know what you have to do, you will find it difficult to get your friends on your side. They will turn on you, saying that you have changed, or that you are just jealous...this couldn't be farther from the truth. They are just blind by what they think is a great and wonderful person.

What I suggest doing is try to get your one or two closest friends together alone, and explain the facts to them. If they don't believe you, get together with your best friend. They must believe you. But sometimes they are even seduce by your enemy and already have turned your best friend against you. Now its personal.

They have made it up to Archnemesis. They will do anything to destroy you. But you have to just be smarter and on step ahead of them. They will try every dirty trick in the book. They will try to become you and everyone and everything you ever have cared about. They could try and steal the girl of your dreams...this is when it is most critical not to become to full of rage. You need to keep your cool. Fight fire with fire. But once you defeat them, don't think that it is over.

They are your Archnemesis, they will show up from time to time to battle you. It might be a small fight, or a large battle waging beyond days. You might lose a battle or two, but keep fighting, the war isn't over yet.
